Clan System
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the Clan System now available, expect more intense and competitive gaming in GG! We designed the clan system similar to those of MMORPG games, thus making the Clan system more interesting.

All Clan functions and features are found in our Official Clan Site (
http://www.gg-game.com/clan ) . You can see a list of functions in the left side of the page:
NOTE: You need to Log In to the clan site using your registered User Account in GG Client to be able to create, join or transact with Clans.
How to Create a Clan?
Click on "Create Clan" under the functions list. Make sure you have met the level requirements to start a clan which is level 25 (Note: Level requirement is still subject to change). After clicking on it, you will need to accurately fill up all the info asked from there.
Clan Name* - Input the complete desired name for your Clan
Clan Tag* - Input the desired Tag or Abbreviation you want for your Clan
Logo - Input the URL of your desired logo ( NOTE: Logo size must be 88*31 )
Category - Select the category for your clan (e.g. Warcraft3, Counter Strike, et. al. )
Description - Input the description or comment about the Clan
Reminders:
* items should be filled. Before Clicking on "Create", double check all the info you have filled.
How to Join a Clan?
Users can submit application through the clan site (
http://www.gg-game.com/clan/index.php?module=apply_join ) and wait for the clan officials to approve. Reminder: make sure you logged in using your Account ID in the clan site.
Click on "Join a Clan" in the function list to view the available Clans:
To apply for a clan, you need to click on the circular icon beside the Clan ID of the clan you wish to join (see above image). Applications is of two form: Join as Friend or Join as Member. A user can join many clans as a friend, but can only be a member of one clan.

The Clan Lord/Captain/Organizer all can give out invitations to users. This clan invitation is similar to the existing buddy request invitation where a notice will be given upon request. If you have accepted the Clan invitation offer, then you will be officially become a member of the clan.
There is no level requirement for a user to join a clan. Meaning even new comers can enjoy the privilege of being in a clan =)
Users can also change their nickname in the clan, simply click on
Update Personal Profile in the clan function list, please see screenshot for more info:
How to leave clan?
To leave from your current Clan, the member may simply right click on the Clan Name under the GG Clans and Groups tab and choose “Leave Group”
What is the maximum Clan Capacity?
Initial Clan Capacity is 50 members, the Clan Lord included.
Managing Clan and Setting up Member Ranks
There are certain functions in clans like editing clan information, managing the clan, and setting member's rank which are only accessible by the clan lord and other high ranking subordinates of the Clan Lord.

Update Clan Information in the clan site to edit the clan profile:

Clan Ranking System
We have various ranks/positions in GG Clans - Clan Lord, Clan Captain, Clan Organizer, Clan Examiner, Squad Leader, Elite Member, Member, and Inactive Member. The Clan Lord can set salary for each level of member and is the only one who can update and manage the Clan profile (includes uploading of Logo). Only Clan lord/Organizers/Captain can invite new members to join.
Enjoy your own Clan Chat Room!
The screenshot shows the “GG Clans and Groups” Tab with your current Clan added to the list, plus the Clan chat window when you clicked on “My Clan”.
When a user is in a clan, the "My Clan" function is now available to you. Clicking it will open the Clan Window, which includes the Clan chat room, Clan Lord's Manage Room and more to be added soon! In the Clan window, the list of members is also seen there. Offline Clan members name appear in light gray while others are in bold format.
Clan Blog Feature
Our clan feature also covers a unique Blogging system which allows members of the clan to create blogs or testimonials for their clan. So got some things to say about your clan? Start a blog and make your clan be known to the community
To add a new blog, simply click on
New Blog as seen in the screenshot above
The above screenshot shows you the 'create blog' window. First you need to fill up a title for the blog, then the body, this is where you put the content for your blogs. For the body, we have included several user-friendly function similar to that of microsoft word. You can change the font style, fint size, can make your text bold, italized, underlined and just about everything you need is there! two different coding format are also allowed to make it even convinient for advance bloggings. So what's the wait? start your blogs now!
What is Salary? And how does it work?
GG will be having virtual cash soon. And Salary here is based on the virtual cash. Generally, the higher the level of the position, the greater is the salary.
Future Features for Clans:
The Clan also level ups, and clan level really matters as every level up increases the capacity of the clan, and other future features we planned to add are only available to high level clans! But as of present, the clan already earns EXP.
How do Clans earn EXP?
Every member including the Clan Lord has a contribution attribute. Each member contribute exp to the clan when they get exp by playing in the client, they can also contribute exp by playing tournaments organized in GG-C. A clan member needs to accumulate enough contribution to be promoted to higher rank in the clan.
The experience percentage that goes to the clan depends on 3 factors, the member’s level, position in clan, and whether the member is a premium member. Premium users get to contribute more for the clan. The basic equation to compute for the contribution percentage is ((Level/2) + (30/Position))/100. Note that the users won’t lose any EXP, they will still earn EXP normally.
When one leaves a clan and returns to the clan after some time, his contribution and position will be back to Zero and to Basic Member respectively. However, the clan won’t lose any EXP that was already contributed by the member who left the clan.

My Buddies window now displays the current location or room your buddy is in.

NEW Game List Feature

With this Game List drop-down window now available in GG, users will have lesser hustle from changing War3 window back to the chat room window or vice versa. Since the list of Games that are available in LAN is already interfaced and can be seen in the chat room, users can look for games faster and easier!
In the Game List, you can right click on the Host name or Game name and choose the Check Latency option from there to ping the host.
NOTE: you will still need to load up war3 from GG first before this function will be available. But after loading "Start Game", you can shift back to the chatroom window and be able to see the games that are created on the LAN already.

NEW “Gamers joined my Host” Tab

This new tab is especially made due to public demand, an all in one solution for ping all, check user location, and for easy access to add a user in your personal ban list. So all a host needs is a click away from this tab!
All the host needs to do is to right click on the User ID and the option box is shown.
