PPLive Ultimate Race War 2008 will start on March 22nd and last for 8 consecutive days till March 29th. Again 16 best Warcraft III players are invited to fight for their race! Gamebank. Games will be video streamed on PPLive as well as GGTV. In Race War I, Orc team lead by Grubby won the Champion. In Race War 2007, Night Elf won this title. Which race will win this time? Is Warcraft III still balanced, or no ?

Time: For 22nd and 23rd, games will start at 7PM GMT+8. For 24th- 29th, games will start at 5PM GMT+8
Prize: $
4560 in total. $1600 for Champion team, $800 for Runner-up team. Winner of each game gets $30 as win bonus.

Tournament Strucure:
The tournament consists of 2 Stages.
Stage I: Civil Match (22nd-23rd)
Civil Match will be mirror games to decide the Hero of each race. 4 players of each race will play BO1 Single elimination. Winner will be the Race Hero.
March 22nd will be Human Mirror and Orc Mirror.
March 23th will be Elf Mirror and Undead Mirror.
Stage II: Race War (24th-29th)
Each race match will be 5 BO2 matches. Each player will face 1 player from other race. In addition, there will be hero vs hero for the 5th game in each race matchup.
24th: Elf vs Undead
25th: Human vs Orc
26th: Elf vs Human
27th: Orc vs Undead
28th: Human vs Undead
29th: Elf vs Orc
Map Selection
7 maps in map pool: TR, TM, EI, TS, GW, LT, SV
In Stage I Civil War, each player veto 2 maps. 3 maps will be remaining. Each player then select a map. If same map is selected, game will be played on the selected map. If different map is selected, the remaining map will be used.
In Stage II Race War, each player veto 2 maps. 3 maps will be remaining. Each player then select a map. If same map is selected, game 1 will be played on the selected map. If different map is selected, the remaining map will be used. In the second game, loser can choose the map from the remaining 2 maps.
