how to cofigure correctly my gg client

Near Start Game button there is a button named Settings, you click there and after you select Call Of Duty 4. You leave it on Start Mode and your browser °iw3mp.exe° . For any other questions pls post here. Thank you.

Do I have to install Punkbuster also? Does the crack run on the pacth file or do i have to get another pathc?

When you install the game, select to install PB too, and regarding to the crack, it should work on all the patches.

i join host by lan. but server disconnect when changing map

Anti-virus, firewall , internet connection problem. Restart server and host again.

I played yesterday... no problems at all at configuring the GG Client ant such... but today there are no servers on Source: "Local"

I am filtering everything (ALL options set to "ALL") and nothing appears. "Retrieving information of 0/0 servers".... How can it be? It works one time and then vanishes... Can u help.

I am trying to play at South America Room.

I have both patches installed (1.4 than 1.5) and it worked yesterday night and today's morning... Now the servers disappeared....

We have some problems with the servers at the moment, you will need to wait until GG Client updates to 2.4 , it is still in testing. Until then, leave the game, restart the GG Client, and join again. It should work... I have sometimes the same problem but didn't find the problem yet...

Robertino, I have more clues that may help. Yesterday, after posting here I reinstalled the game and the patches, entred GArena and it worked perfectly. Now I tryed again and the problem came back. There's onde difference. Yesterday, when I opened the game it showed the entry scenes (and everything worket perfectly), now it goes straight to the screen warning about punkbuster. It seems the client messed up with the game somehow...

I tryed than to replace the Multiplayer exe only, but without sucess...

I restarted my PC three times now and it still doesn't work. Do i have to install punkbuster? Well, I didn't...

I invited a friend to play here and he´s having exactly the same problem...

That's it for now. I keep looking forward a way to solve this.

Help help help. I haven't had any luck with ANY of my 30+ online multiplayer games. I tried garena for COD4 but it would time out when I try to log in. I tried all the port options, firewall on and off. disabling and even uninstalling anti-virus, even shutting down all programs that access the internet.

I even tried it after a clean os reinstallation xp and vista and still no luck.
I'm desperate here.

Go in the folder where you installed COD, go in °miles° and rename °mssmp3.asi° to °mssmp3.bat.° if still not working I think that you should defenatly install PunkBuster.

I have put the right location to the cod multiplayer exe in the settings but I get the following message when I press the start game button in gg "the excutable you set is not standred, you may not connect to the virtual lan without standerd excutable, ......."

Robertino... forget about what I said. The intro has nothing to do with the problem... I made many tests yesterday and I talked to some people at South America room... ant theirs CODs that are functional doesn't show the intro... so...

I did what tou said abou the file at "miles" folder... didn't work either.

So I played for 3 hours with no problems... GREAT... punk buster solved my problem... BUT... turned off COD and Garena and went to sleep... now I am trying to connect again and here's back the same problem... I can't see the servers... So what made me play yesterday was the reinstallation of the game... not the punkbuster...

Well... I can´t reinstall the game every day...

I have the original cod4 with the original key. i got it before ggc had cod4 support and play multilayer quite often, today i tried to play it in ggc so i manually updated pb, located the exe in settings and launched the game but i don't see any games in local! help!
