i may be testing out using Left 4 Dead Patcher made by me,

But i may be look forward on you how my design for L4D Patcher

(Note : The sound file needs from the directory from "left4dead\sound\UI\gamestartup1.mp3")

Note for Garena Users :

For New Users : Please Extract to Your Left 4 Dead's Folder.
For Exist Users : Please Replace the Files of the Launcher Files.

This Launcher and Patches will include was
Left 4 Dead Version 1.0.1.1

THe patcher works great for me, but when i recrommmend some of my other friends, the patcher prompted things liak bink32.dll not found etc. etc.
anyway to fix this problem? Thank you.

sQuepiggy, you said the file "bink32.dll" was wrong. the actual file name is "binkw32.dll"

well this the file you requested.

binkw32.rar

replace to <path_to_left_4_dead>\bin folder and overwrite if file exist.

i recently patched to 1.0.0.9 through your guide and suddenly, my girlfriend and i cannot play through hamahci anymore. it says that only i cold only connect rhough local clients. i just want to clarify, your patch is made intentionnaly for garena and doesn' specifically support hamachi?

Inside the ZIP or RAR, there are the files needs to be placed on to left 4 dead folder.

Suggestion:

Detect user's game version. (use the steam.inf)
Allow user to option whether to install RevEmu or not.
A Rev.ini configurator! Making configuring rev.ini easier for noobies.
A file hash checker? To check whether any files is missing, corrupted that may interfere with the game.

Simply, this thing update your game and install the revemu without prompting you at all. It will automatically download all the files in archive format and extract to your game. It's easier to use.

But it ain't very smart. You have to put it in your Left 4 Dead folder.
